March 2 photo of the day

I sort of cheated on this one.  It was taken yesterday during my walk through the Village.  So although it is the photo of the day, it is not a photo from today.

Details.

If you are familiar with New York City, you know that every building over six stories has a water tank on top of it.  This is because there is not enough water pressure to pump water successfully higher than six stories.  The water tanks solve that.  The water is kept on the roof, and gravity pulls it down when needed.

This is the reason, we are getting medicine with the product of other companies that are producing the same medicine that the Pfizer used to use for making the low cost levitra. Even better is that most of the tanks are made of wood.   It takes a team of six men less than 24 hours to build one, and they generally last 30-35 years with regular maintenance.

This one, somewhere in the Village,  was nicely offset by a brilliant blue sky.

About Amy

Amy Milstein was born and raised on a farm in Indiana, but after 20+ years considers herself a full-fledged New Yorker. She is married with two kids, who do not go to school but are instead life learners. This means they learn by living in the world (real life ) instead of hearing about it and simulating it in a classroom. With her family, Amy loves to travel, read, watch movies, write, sew, knit - the list is endless.
