Shots of the day

One of the things I’ve wanted to do all summer is walk the entire perimeter of Central Park.    We haven’t done it yet, but today Maya and I walked up about 20 blocks of its’ west side, then crossed on 87th St. over to Broadway.   These are some of the photos I took, each of them depicting a reason I love the city.

One of the 26 "gates" of Central Park, this one for the Naturalists

You miss a lot if you walk through the park and never look up.

The front of the AMNH, currently featuring a giant spider!

Look out Teddy!

On West 87th St. Is it art? Is it junk? Can I ride it?

About Amy

Amy Milstein was born and raised on a farm in Indiana, but after 20+ years considers herself a full-fledged New Yorker. She is married with two kids, who do not go to school but are instead life learners. This means they learn by living in the world (real life ) instead of hearing about it and simulating it in a classroom. With her family, Amy loves to travel, read, watch movies, write, sew, knit - the list is endless.
