Photo shoot – 90 degrees

So it’s officially summer.  90 degrees yesterday, today, tomorrow….

But!  I got a new and wonderful camera for my birthday on Saturday, so heat be damned, I was going out to take some photos.   The resolution on this camera is incredible, and as Maya and I walked around I kept wanting to photograph the various gas and water hookups you see in front of almost every building in the city.

A couple of birch trees snuck into the mix as well, one in particular due to its’ eye.   Yes, an eye.  I swear it was watching us.

These are my first favorite photos.  They won’t be the last.

About Amy

Amy Milstein was born and raised on a farm in Indiana, but after 20+ years considers herself a full-fledged New Yorker. She is married with two kids, who do not go to school but are instead life learners. This means they learn by living in the world (real life ) instead of hearing about it and simulating it in a classroom. With her family, Amy loves to travel, read, watch movies, write, sew, knit - the list is endless.
