A brief pause….

Now that we are back from our mid-winter Bahamas break, I need to get to work on the text for my new website, coming to the internet sometime in March.   The url (which isn’t functioning yet in case you decide to search) will be unschoolingnyc.com .   I’m working with a fantastic designer named Alison Leipzig and am very excited about where we are headed with the site.

What this means is I will be taking a break from this blog for a few days in order to get some stuff to Alison.    And I may take weekends off until the new site launches, so that I’ll have those two days to write content and consult on design.

But I promise it will be worth it.

Unschoolingnyc.com is going to have all kinds of great info about unschooling, links to other  unschooling sites and people and of course, the blog.   The goal is to bring unschooling/life learning/worldschooling into the forefront of the debate on education and to make it known to everyone as a viable option for their kids.

Exciting, isn’t it?   Stay tuned…

About Amy

Amy Milstein was born and raised on a farm in Indiana, but after 20+ years considers herself a full-fledged New Yorker. She is married with two kids, who do not go to school but are instead life learners. This means they learn by living in the world (real life ) instead of hearing about it and simulating it in a classroom. With her family, Amy loves to travel, read, watch movies, write, sew, knit - the list is endless.
